Welcome to Placehold.ovh ❇️ 🙂

The first basic version of this service has been developed in one hour (1st commit to production) thanks to the MicroSymfony application template.

Please read the terms of service before using Placehold.ovh.

• Use the /{width} URL pattern to generate a square
• Use the /{width}x{height} URL pattern for other formats
• You can turn off the text with the notext get parameter: ?notext
• You can change the text color with the text_color get parameter: ?text_color=dc143c or ?text_color=aaa
• You can change the background color with the bg_color get parameter: ?bg_color=75b2dd or ?bg_color=555
• The default text color is #999
• The default background color is #DDD
• There are six formats available: avif, bmp, gif, jpg (or jpeg), png and webp.
• If no extension is provided /555, the png format is used.
• For other formats, put the wanted extension (lowercase) after the size parameters: /275x175.jpeg or /275x175.gif.
• The maximum allowed size in width or height is 2000 px. If the size is above, the maximum size is used.
• The minimum allowed size in width or height is 10 px. If the size is below, the minimum size is used.

You can buy the whole Placehold.ovh source code to host your service. The price is $129. It includes:

• The Symfony 7.2 application (PHP 8.4 and FrankenPHP ready)
• Documentation to install the application on a dedicated server (with FrankenPHP)
• One year support
• Unlimited updates from the original Placehold.ovh source code
